Maximilian vs the Octopus
24"x48", Acrylic on Canvas (2015)
For the 2nd piece in the visual journal and creative distortion of my son's life, we jump to age 3 when he had a collection of octopus bath toys. The result of him 'battling' these toys is this piece, half inspired by his bath time antics, and half inspired by one of the many people he is named after, Max Dietrich, who was one of Germany's Zeppelin combat pilots in WWI.
All Canvas, Wood & Brushed Metal printed pieces are numbered limited quantities of 50.
